Installation

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0 or higher
  • WooCommerce (required)
  • PHP 7.4 or higher
  • A WhatsApp provider account (for sending messages)

Install the plugin

  1. Download emargy-whatsapp.zip from your account dashboard.
  2. Upload it via Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and click Install Now.
  3. Click Activate.

Activate your license

The settings live under WooCommerce → WhatsApp Notify. Open the License screen there, enter your key, and click Activate License.

Getting Started

What Emargy WhatsApp Notify does

It sends automatic WhatsApp messages to customers (and store owners) when order events happen — new order, processing, shipped, completed — using message templates with dynamic placeholders.

First steps

  1. Go to WooCommerce → WhatsApp Notify.
  2. Connect your WhatsApp provider credentials.
  3. Enable the order statuses you want to notify on and customize each template.
  4. Place a test order to confirm messages arrive.

Placeholders

Templates support placeholders such as customer name, order number, total, and status, so each message is personalized automatically.

Configuration

Provider

Enter your WhatsApp Business / provider API credentials under WooCommerce → WhatsApp Notify. Multiple sender numbers can be configured where supported.

Notifications

  • Choose which order statuses trigger a customer message.
  • Enable separate admin/store-owner alerts for new orders.
  • Edit the template text per status using placeholders.

Logs

Every send is logged so you can review delivery status and troubleshoot failures.

Troubleshooting

Messages are not being delivered

  • Re-check your provider credentials and that the sender number is approved.
  • Confirm the customer phone number is in full international format.
  • Review the logs screen for the provider's error response.

License or settings page missing

The plugin lives under WooCommerce → WhatsApp Notify; WooCommerce must be active. Open the License screen there to activate.
