Does Emargy send or read my WhatsApp messages?

No. The plugin sends directly from your WordPress site to the provider you configure. Emargy receives license validation requests, but it does not proxy notification content or customer phone numbers.

Which WhatsApp providers are supported?

Version 2.2.0 supports Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, WazaTool API, OpenWA, and a custom JSON webhook. Each provider requires its own account, endpoint, credentials, pricing, and policy compliance.

Are messages sent during checkout?

No. Order events are queued through WooCommerce Action Scheduler when available, with WP-Cron as a fallback. This keeps provider latency out of the customer checkout response.

Can the same event send twice?

Successful sends are recorded per order, event, and recipient. Repeated hooks skip an already successful notification while failed attempts remain visible for diagnosis.

Does the plugin guarantee WhatsApp delivery?

No. A successful API request is not a guarantee that Meta, the selected provider, or the recipient device will deliver or display a message. Provider approval, templates, consent, account quality, and destination validity remain external requirements.

What customer data is stored in logs?

Logs keep operational status while masking phone numbers, removing message payload previews, and redacting common credential fields. A daily cleanup removes records older than the retention period.

What are the technical requirements?

Version 2.2.0 requires PHP 8.1 or newer, WooCommerce 7.0 or newer, and a WordPress installation that can make outbound HTTPS requests to the configured provider.
