Good work deserves an experience that shows its value.

Visitors do not understand the offer or enquire

A site can look good while leaving a visitor unsure whether the service fits or what to do next. Review the message, the order of information and the evidence, then inspect mobile navigation, forms and the route to an enquiry.

How we approach it

  • Identify the buyer and the question that brought them to the site.
  • Connect each service to relevant work and a clear next step.
  • Review page speed, forms and measurement of accepted enquiries.

A useful starting point: Share your current URL, your priority service and an example of the enquiry you want to receive.

Web Development

A store needs launching or repair

A new store and an existing store with a broken buying journey need different work. Start with products, variants, stock and the target market, then review product pages, cart, payment and delivery before recommending Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom build.

How we approach it

  • Map where product data, imagery and prices come from and how they change.
  • Confirm payment and shipping options available to the business.
  • Scope buying-journey testing and measurement around the actual need.

A useful starting point: Bring sample products, an approximate catalogue size, sales markets and the status of payment and delivery accounts.

Ecommerce Development

Work is scattered across tools and manual re-entry

When work moves between email, spreadsheets and team messages, ownership and status become hard to follow. Map the current workflow before proposing a system, distinguishing a useful integration from genuinely custom logic, permissions or an activity history.

How we approach it

  • Define the trigger, states and owner of each step.
  • Review existing systems, API access and the quality of available data.
  • Choose a bounded workflow to validate before expanding the system.

A useful starting point: Describe one recurring workflow, its tools and owner, and a sample without sensitive data.

Custom Systems

Search and traffic are not tied to clear opportunities

More traffic does not show whether the right people arrive or why they do not enquire. Review service pages, buyer questions and available search and analytics data, then connect content opportunities to a clearer offer and enquiry journey.

How we approach it

  • Review impressions, clicks and landing pages in Search Console when access is available.
  • Keep traffic measurement distinct from accepted enquiries and available sales outcomes.
  • Prioritise content, SEO and GEO work using evidence and page importance.

A useful starting point: Start with your URL and priority offer, then arrange read access to available measurement tools without sharing passwords.

Search & Growth

The identity does not reflect the quality of the business

A strong business can still look inconsistent across its site, posts and proposals. Review the brand’s character, audience and actual uses, then decide whether it needs a logo, an identity system or better digital use of an existing identity.

How we approach it

  • Define the message, intended impression and audience.
  • Review colour, type and imagery across real business channels.
  • Agree the required applications and file formats in a clear, separate scope.

A useful starting point: Share any existing identity, examples of its current use and the channels that need it.

Retail and consumer brands

When choices grow, shoppers need to understand products, sizing and uses before comparing prices. Shape the catalogue, product page and buying journey around the brand, then identify where follow-up and product data help.

The question we start with

Does the buyer need explanation, comparison or guidance? Does order data reach the team without being entered again?

What we need to understand: Product variants, inventory, markets and delivery.

Clinics and healthcare services

A clinic enquiry starts with understanding the treatment, practitioner and location. Organise content and the mobile enquiry path around those questions; booking integrations and sensitive-data handling are reviewed as separate requirements.

The question we start with

What does a patient need to know before contacting you? Where do appointment requests go, and who follows up?

What we need to understand: Treatments, practitioner information, location and appointment requests.

Property and specialist services

In property and specialist services, imagery alone cannot answer buyer questions. Structure projects or listings, attributes, location and enquiry routing, distinguishing a portfolio site from a system requiring search, filtering and data updates.

The question we start with

Does the buyer search by location, type or budget? Does data change daily, or is it maintained manually by a small team?

What we need to understand: Projects or listings, their attributes and update source.

From the question to the next step

Know what we will discuss before we begin.

01

Understand the business need

The problem, audience and existing tools matter more than a technology list. Review what exists, what should change and which inputs are missing before proposing a solution.

02

Turn the need into a clear decision

Compare improvement, a new build and integration based on fit. The relevant proposal defines deliverables, boundaries, inputs, cost, reviews and handover.

03

Build, review and measure

Implementation and verification stages depend on the project. Review the relevant journey, content and integrations, then clarify agreed access, support and measurement before handover.

Before you commit

Answers that help you choose.

If your situation is different, share the current context and your main question. Understanding the business is the starting point for a useful recommendation.

Let’s discuss your project

How do I know whether I need a website, a store or a custom system?

Start with what a customer or team must be able to do. Explaining services, showing work and collecting enquiries usually points to a website. A catalogue, cart and orders need commerce. Permissions, approvals and connections between tools may need a custom system or a smaller integration. Review the workflow before choosing technology; a project can combine these needs without rebuilding everything.

Can the current site be improved instead of replaced?

Yes, when the existing structure is maintainable and ownership and access are clear. Review content, speed, mobile behaviour, indexing, forms and integrations, then distinguish a fixable issue from a structural constraint. Valuable URLs and data are retained, with any migration agreed before implementation. An enquiry problem does not automatically justify a redesign.

What does a starting price mean?

It is a reference point for a type of work, not approval for an unlimited project. Pages, languages, catalogue, content, integrations and the current setup affect the scope. A written proposal defines deliverables, exclusions, handover, support and recurring costs. Service pricing is separate from Emargy product licences; scope is agreed before commitment.

What should I prepare before getting in touch?

Send the current URL if there is one, what you sell or deliver, the intended market and audience, and the first problem to solve. Samples, existing tools, an indicative budget and timing help. You do not need a technical specification, and should not send passwords or customer data in the initial enquiry; appropriate access can be arranged later.
