Alaan Plus publishes Arabic news and general-interest stories across entertainment, technology, sport, lifestyle and other subjects.
The Challenge
Alaan Plus publishes Arabic news and general-interest stories across entertainment, technology, sport, lifestyle and other subjects. Its website needed to make varied editorial content easy to browse while giving individual stories and their authors a consistent presentation.
The challenge was to connect a visually engaging homepage with topic archives, article pages and onward reading paths, so readers could move naturally between current stories and the wider archive.
Our Solution
Emargy developed an Arabic right-to-left publishing experience with image-led story cards, prominent headlines and a distinct purple-accented identity. The homepage combines highlighted stories, article grids and most-read content, while topic pages give each section a dedicated browsing structure.
Article pages bring together the main image, title, author, publication date, reading information, sharing links and related content. Author archives allow readers to explore more work by the same contributor. The inspected interface also includes a newsletter subscription form and cookie preference controls.
Search foundations visible in the inspected pages include canonical links, descriptive page titles and Organization, WebSite and Article structured data. The article schema carries author attribution, publication date and the featured image.
The Result
The website presents Alaan Plus as a coherent Arabic publishing platform, connecting visual discovery with topic-based browsing, article reading and author archives.
During review, the technology archive displayed 89 articles and the inspected author archive displayed 135. Both archives and the sampled article opened successfully, providing concrete examples of the site's editorial structure.
